Intermediate. Confidence with casting on, knit, purl and experience with knitting a basic hat. Helpful to have some colorwork experience but not required.

MATERIALS

• Nancy Bates Knitting California OR National Parks book
• Variety of colors needed for your pattern
• US 5 + 7 16" circular + US 7 DPN's
• Handful of Stitch markers
  

DETAILS

Enter the world of color through knitting! Colorwork knitting offers so many different opportunities to create unique items and is simpler than it looks! We'll be working with 2+ colors at a time, and learning how to manage the yarns as you go.


HOMEWORK
Select pattern and purchase materials.
Cast on and work through ribbing, ready to begin colorwork.

Ages: 14+
Skill Requirements: Confident at knitting, purling, and knitting in the round. You need to be comfortable with making a basic hat. Advanced Beginner.
